Maps (preview feature)
The Map view of a directory is built from the following.
- Basemap tiles: © CARTO.
- Map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors. OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Database License.
- Map display: Leaflet, released under the BSD 2-Clause license.
- Grouping nearby pins: Leaflet.markercluster, released under the MIT license.
- Turning place names into map positions: we look up the locations you enter using Nominatim, which searches OpenStreetMap data. That data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
The credit for CARTO and OpenStreetMap is also shown on the map itself, in its bottom-right corner.
